SCOUT AND GUIDES ACTIVITIES
Scout and guides are contributing their services related to discipline, cleanliness, and welcoming chief guest, controlling the road traffic near the school main gate.

182 Scouts are registered and 108 Guides are registered in the troop. 6 Students (3 Scouts & 3 Guides) are taking part in Rajyapuraskar testing Camp. 32 Scouts and 24 Guides along with 3 Scouters and one guide Captain have registered for Prime Minister Shields award.

Regular activities like BP six exercise, March past, Flag break, Group activities, Patrol activities, Preparation for investiture ceremony in the month of August.

In the year 2010 and 11 we conducted TSPL Camp for Guides alone.

Troop Meetings are conducted regularly on Wednesdays. TSPL Camp was conducted from 7th to 9th Oct 2010.Registered for Prime Minister’s shield and Lakshmi Mazumdar Shield. School Level Annual Camp conducted. Peace March was conducted. 2 Students attended Rajyapuraskar Testing Camp and Divisional state Rally and Jamboree.

Rajya Puraskar Scouts / Guide

:

At present 7 Scouts & 4 Guide Rajya Puraskar are there in our Vidyalaya.
This year 2 Guides and 2 Scouts registered for Rashtrapati Scout / Guide Award.

Teachers trained

:

Principal is District Commissioner (G) - district No.1 in Chennai Region.
Vice Principal is HWB Scout.
In our School 07 trained Scout Masters, 4 Cub Masters,                    
3 Guide Captains & 2 Flock leaders are there.                                             

Scout / Guides activities during Apri to July 2011

Regular classes are conducted on every Wednesday.

This academic year 75 students were enrolled in the Scouts & Guides movement.

 

 

RASHTRAPATI AWARD TESTING CAMP

Two scouts attended Rashtrapati Award Testing Camp at National Youth Complex Gadpuri Haryana

from 15/09/2011 to 19/09/2011.
